This the first class in the series Sacred Tarot taught by Nila, of Four Crows Center in Tustin, CA. Nila has been practicing metaphysics for over 30 years and teaching Tarot for over 15 years.
The human mind processes information and creates through symbols. Symbols are stored whitin the unconscious and are unique to the individual. Through eons of time and the expansion of the group consciousness, some syumbols have become universal (such as sun, moon, and stars). Within the infinite realm of the unconscious, lies a never-ending matrix of information (Spirit). The tarot is an ancient system of symbols that can and will unleash the hidden knowledge stored within and bring it to the finite conscious mind. Tarot is no different in its context or format than many of the psychological tests that determine a person's reality.
Tarot is a science. It is also a direct channel to the natural, intuitive power we all possess. It is our birth right to "know" who we are and how that might be affecting our life. It is our duty not to be ignorant. It is our right to "know" and then co-create with Spirt to birth a greater experience of life. It is our birth right to evolve and transcend outdated beliefs and dis-empower superstitious dogma about the ancient art of divination. Learning to read the Tarot will give you an opportunity to better understand your life and assist you in making better choices. Doing readings for others will give you an opportunity to help others make better choices thus helping them on their spiritual journey. You will learn the meaning of the cards, not as separate, but how each card relates to the next one making the learning process much more effortless. You will also learn different layouts and gain confidence in your intuitive abilities. Nila will also give you a simple and effective technique to read immediately, and with practice, the basic skills to read well!
