The Keynote Presentations will be held in a 50 seat presentation room. Alternative/Holistic Presentations will be held in three 25 seat classrooms, two 15 seat classrooms and eight 7 person rooms allowing for personal questions, answers and demonstrations.

The purpose of Cancer Support & Survivorship Nation is to provide support and new information to those interested in or involved with survivorship from cancer or other diseases. An attendee will have opportunities to explore, learn, ask questions, and hear several expert speakers on a wind range of topics and tools related to recovery, survival, healing from disease. Amy Regenstreif      Financial Stragegies for Long Term Illness   Chairperson, Cancer Support & Survivorship Nation

Amy was diagnosed with metastatic retroperitoneal leiomyosarcoma in Sept of 2001. She has been battling this disease for many years. Her experiences with this disease both physcial and mental have had the biggest influence in her life. In 2003 she went to work at New York Life Insurance Company as a Long Term Care Insurance Specialist and Life Insurance Agent. Amy has spoken for the Editors Guild, the Motion Picture Health and Retirement and Fund and countless business groups on the health and financial issues of not planning for long term care health issues properly.

 In 2009 she helped to found a rare cancer support group at Cedar Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Institute here in Los Angeles. In 2005 she was a keynote speaker at their Cancer Survivor's Day Luncheon. You can read Amy's story at amysmoneyhealthcare.blogspot.com

Amy's next focus in life in addition to everything she does is being a patient advocate and teaching others how to plan in advance for those little "what If's" in life and how not get get caught unaware as she did. Robin Christenson is an expert in Sexual, Bladder, and Bowel Dysfucntion. Kristen Willeumier, M.S, Ph.D.     Nutrition & Disease

Dr. Willeumier is the Director of Research for the Amen Clinics in Newport Beach, CA. The Amen Clinics utilizes brain imaging to guide treatment in complex psychiatric cases and is the pioneer of natural, brain-oriented treatments for issues including attention problems, anxiety, mood disorders, autism, addictions, obesity, memory, learning and behavior problems. Dr. Willeumier is a neuroscientist who received her M.S. in both Physiological Science and Neurobiology and Ph.D. in Neurobiology from UCLA and was concurrently trained in the Department of Neurology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.   Mary Cox  BS, BA         Complications from Radiation and Post Surgical Scarring

Mary Cox She has been with Womanology + Theralogique since 2007 and offers over 30 years of experience in the physical therapy field. She is a licensed physical therapist and a graduate of Long Beach State University, California with a B.S. in Physical Therapy and a B.A. in Psychology. Mary has a strong focus in manual therapy (hands on) techniques which include craniosacral therapy, visceral mobilization, myofascial release and pelvis floor treatments since 1997.

With the strong postgraduate continuing education in manual soft tissue therapy, Mary’s patient focus has been the treatment of pelvic and abdominal pain, releasing scar tissue and adhesions from injuries and post-surgically, endometriosis, closed head injuries, headaches and unexplained body pain. Maryann Castellanos, BA, MSS    Transformational Energy Healing

Maryann Castellanos began her career as an undergraduate psychology student in NJ.   In 1979 began the Transpersonal Center where she served as a Transpersonal Psychotherapist.   She studied yoga, meditation, shiatsu and oriental medicine and found that she was gifted in attitudinal healing by releasing the associated blocks in the meridians.Maryann Castellanos went on to have a family and studied Spiritual Science at Peace Theological Seminary (www.pts.org).   She became an ordained minister in 1988 adding the multidimensional aspects of spiritual life force to her work.   Currently she is a doctoral candidate.
